In times like these, believers must stand firm and engage actively in their spiritual walk. The Global Prayer Storm is an initiative designed to rally Christians worldwide in unified prayer and intercession as we seek to align ourselves with God’s purposes. At God Encounters Ministries, our mission is simple: to help you encounter God in a personal and transformative way.     Through our Global Prayer Storm efforts, we invite you to participate in a growing, worldwide prayer movement that meets every Wednesday at noon (central time). This prayer meeting is broadcast live on our God Encounters Facebook page and James Goll’s YouTube channel, welcoming believers from around the world to join us. You can engage in these powerful sessions at any time, as the recordings are available for you to pray along with us and participate in our themes, which include revival in the church, governmental intercession, the most significant youth awakening, and prayers for Israel and the descendants of Abraham.

The Triumph: Reintroducing a Comprehensive Guide to Spiritual Warfare

As we journey together in these global efforts, I want to reintroduce The Triumph—a comprehensive guide to spiritual warfare. We are relaunching this curriculum because we have made the entire kit available. It includes the original book, a study guide titled Mantled for Victory, and online classes available in MP3 (audio) and MP4 (video) formats. These resources are designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to engage in spiritual battles effectively.

This package is designed for facilitators who wish to host Bible studies in their homes or online, enabling groups to come together and grow in understanding and practice. We’ve made discounts available for groups purchasing the kits so everyone can participate and be equipped without purchasing all components individually.

Going on the Offensive: Engaging in Spiritual Warfare

In the body of Christ, it’s essential not just to maintain our personal devotional life with God, but to learn—or relearn—how to go on the offensive. The enemy has become increasingly active, and some sectors of the church have grown passive, almost neutered. To be victorious and to take territory, we must move beyond passive faith and engage in active spiritual warfare.

One of the central messages of The Triumph is taken from Ephesians 6:16 (NASB): "In addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." The shield of faith is a vital piece of the armor of God, and I want to help you understand its significance. The shield mentioned by Paul in this passage is not the small, circular kind used for individual defense. Instead, it’s a large, door-shaped shield designed to protect not just an individual, but a whole group when soldiers stand together side by side. This shield, soaked in water, could extinguish the fiery arrows of the enemy upon impact.

We are called to band together, standing side by side, to form a united front—like a modern-day tank—moving forward against the forces of darkness. It’s time to go on the offensive, maintaining our devotional positions and advancing as a body of believers to take the territory given to us.

The Reality of Spiritual Warfare: Fiery Arrows and Flaming Darts

We must not be in denial about the reality of spiritual warfare. Fiery darts and blazing arrows will come against every disciple of Christ, regardless of their gifting or calling. These arrows are not merely metaphorical; they represent sudden, unexpected interruptions in our minds—vile images and thoughts that oppose our godly desires. These could be blasphemous thoughts about Jesus, revolting images, suicidal urges, or even compulsive thoughts of harming loved ones.

Often, these attacks occur during moments of spiritual engagement, such as reading the Bible, praying, or worshiping. The enemy seeks to distract and discourage us, making us question our worthiness and godliness. One of the most common tactics of the enemy is distraction. However, another is to speak in the first person, planting thoughts like, "I feel unwanted" or "I am not welcome." It’s essential to recognize that these thoughts are not from God; they are attacks aimed at undermining our identity and faith.

Uniting Together: The Power of Community

To overcome these attacks, we must not isolate ourselves. The enemy seeks to alienate us, convincing us we can handle everything alone. But the truth is, we need one another. The strength of the shield of faith is magnified when we come together, standing side by side. There is exponential power when we are united, moving forward in agreement. We must not fall for the tricks of isolation or the lie that we are alone.

Condemnation is another weapon the enemy uses against us. It is different from conviction. Conviction, which is from the Holy Spirit, is specific and brings repentance and restoration. Condemnation, on the other hand, is vague and pushes us down, leading to guilt and shame. We must understand these differences to stand firm and resist the enemy’s attacks.

Becoming a Facilitator: Hosting Your Own Bible Study

If you feel called to go deeper and lead others in this spiritual journey, consider becoming a facilitator for The Triumph. As a facilitator, you can host a Bible study in your home or online, using the curriculum kit to guide your group. You’ll receive support and resources, and together, we can raise a community of empowered believers.

Above all, taking the shield of faith

with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

Ephesians 6:16 NKJV

You are the Almighty God, and Your Son is my victorious Champion. As a warrior in the strategic purposes of God in my generation, I put on the full armor of God. I walk in the strong authority of Your name, Lord Jesus Christ! I take up the shield of faith, enabling me to extinguish the fiery arrows of the evil one.

I am now ready to take up the powerful sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and I proclaim, “No weapon formed against me will prosper.” I proclaim Your Word as Jesus did. I pray the Word as the early apostles did, and praise the Word of God as the disciples did. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. This is my victorious spiritual warfare declaration for Your glory, oh God.
