What may we expect during this last few days in the month of February?
In a recent prophetic message, Katie Souza described what the Lord has placed on her heart about what we can expect to see over the rest of this month.
Souza believes we are in the middle of Nehemiah season, one when we cannot wait to live out the great calling and purpose that God has placed on our lives. She declares that the church must rise with urgency, wielding spiritual weapons while advancing the kingdom of God. This moment calls for believers to fortify what has been broken, stand firm against the enemy and embrace a renewed sense of purpose.
Rebuilding the Walls: A Call to Action
Souza emphasizes that this season isn’t just about spiritual restoration—it’s about rebuilding the broken walls of our homes, churches, finances and even nations. Just as Nehemiah’s team faced fierce opposition while reconstructing Jerusalem’s walls, believers today must brace for spiritual resistance.
"We are rebuilding not only the temple as in the time of Ezra, but the defensive wall around our countries, around our homes, around our bodies, around our finances, around our children and families,” Souza says. “We are building a defensive wall of protection and the enemy is raging as the gaps get closed up.”
Governmental and Financial Shakings
A significant part of this prophetic revelation highlights exposure and accountability, particularly in government and financial systems. Souza points to the misuse of resources, both domestically and abroad, as God brings hidden corruption into the light. One example is the uncovering of Social Security corruption where almost 1.5 million U.S. citizens were listed as over 150 years old.
As governmental structures are audited, believers also are encouraged to examine their own lives, ensuring there are no breaches for the enemy to exploit.
Breaking Discouragement and Distractions
One of the greatest tactics of the enemy in this season is discouragement. Souza warns that many are overwhelmed by “rubbish” in their lives—past failures, distractions and fear. However, just as Nehemiah refused to abandon his work when the enemy taunted him, believers must reject fear-based distractions and press forward with unwavering faith.
“The enemy is trying to speak to you. He’s trying to put symptoms on you. He’s trying to attack you so that you will be discouraged, so that you will engage with him with worries in your mind…so that you will stop working on the wall,” Souza says.
A Year of Supernatural Activation
Miracles, healing and restoration will mark this season. Testimonies of supernatural provision and breakthrough already are emerging. Souza declares that God is calling His people to step into a higher dimension of faith, trusting Him for the impossible.
As we move through 2025, the mandate is clear—rebuild, stand firm and pray without ceasing.
The Nehemiah season is here.
Will you take your place on the wall?
